Tea Cup inspired vessels part 2
The surface of the small vessels were made from clay slabs printed with bark, whilst the base was shaped in a mold. Both techniques were used to slab build the bowls, These were then used to test my favored Stoneware glazes.
African Inspired Vessel
A big coiled piece I made to get an idea of how they might have made ceremonial drinking vessels in Africa, after seeing one in the Natural History Museum in Manchester. I actually sold this piece which was great :)
